You can find us at Uma Cross Road in the Waghodia area of Vadodara. We’re in Shop No-4 of the Naitik Chambers, right across from Desk Plaza. It’s a bit of a landmark for people living in Javer Nagar. The cross road is usually packed with rickshaws and bikes, so it can be a bit noisy during the day. We’ve been operating here for a while now, serving the local residents. Our shop is basically walls of shelves from floor to ceiling. We have to use a small stool to reach the stuff on the top rows. It’s not a big fancy pharmacy like you see in the malls. It’s just a neighborhood chemist where you can come in and get what you need without any fuss. We handle a lot of regular medicines for the elderly people in the area. They often come by in the mornings when it’s cooler. We talk about the local gossip or how the roads are being dug up again. It’s a bit of a routine. Sometimes the computer acts up when we are trying to do the billing, and we have to ask people to wait a minute. No one seems to mind much. We just try to get the orders right and make sure people understand how to take their doses. It’s a honest day's work and we’re glad to be part of the community here. It's just how a local shop should be.
