Gajanan Decoraters

The life of a decorator is never really quiet, especially when wedding season starts. We are Gajanan Decoraters and our base is located at Sonarika Society 41. It is mostly a residential area, so we try to keep the noise down when we are loading the trucks early in the morning. We have piles of fabric, poles, and lights stacked up in our storage space. Most days, we are out at different venues, but this is where we come back to sort everything out. The office is just a small room where we keep our calendars and notebooks. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. Usually, it is just us talking to families about what they want for their functions. It is a lot of physical work, lifting heavy things and making sure everything looks right before the guests arrive. We have seen a lot of changes in the society over the years, but we have stayed right here at number 41. Sometimes the neighborhood kids come by to see what we are building. It is a busy life but it feels good to be part of people's celebrations. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just bring the stuff, set it up, and make sure it stays put.
