Being in a township means we see the same people almost every day. It is a nice way to run a business because you get to know the neighbors. We focus on medical supplies and various provision goods. The store is situated in a way that is easy for residents of Shree Hari to reach without having to go too far. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It is just a regular shop with white walls and metal shelves. We try to keep things in stock so people don't have to drive all the way into the main city for small things like bandages or soap. Ajwa Road has developed quite a lot recently, but we still feel like a local neighborhood store. I started this place because I wanted to work for myself and stay close to home. It is a lot of hours, but I like being my own boss. We don't do any big advertising or promotional events. Word of mouth is usually how people hear about us. If someone needs a specific cream or a certain brand of tea, we try to get it for them if it's not already on the shelf. It’s just a small, honest shop. We don't have a corporate office. It's just me and the occasional help from my family.
