Delux Optic Centre

Delux Optic Centre is located right opposite the Ahmedabadi Pole in Raopura. It’s a very old and busy part of the city. We have been here for a long time, helping people with their glasses and eye checks. The shop isn't very large, but we have plenty of frames on the walls. It’s a bit traditional in here. We have the testing equipment in the back and the display cases in the front. People walk by all day long on the street outside. It’s a noisy area with all the rickshaws and shoppers, but inside the shop, it’s a bit calmer. We spend our time adjusting frames or talking to people about their prescriptions. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. If a frame looks good, we say so, and if it doesn't, we suggest another one. It’s a very direct way of doing things. We know many of our customers by name because their families have been coming to us for years. Being near the Ahmedabadi Pole means we are right in the heart of the local market. We see all kinds of people every day. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and cleaning lenses. We like the fact that we've stayed in this same spot while other things in the city have changed. It’s a steady job and we like the community in Raopura. It keeps us busy from morning until we close the shutters at night.
