We've been at 1 Uthkant Society for a while now. It's just behind the Alkapuri Club, which makes it pretty easy to find if you know the Vadodara area well. The office is tucked away in Alkapuri, and it’s a decent enough spot to get work done. Most of us here at Deloitte Touche Tohmastu India Pvt Ltd spend our days handling various paperwork and client files. It’s not a fancy setup by any means, just desks, computers, and people trying to stay on top of their busy schedules. The traffic around the club can get a bit heavy during the evenings, but inside the office, it stays fairly quiet most of the time. We don't really do much in the way of big announcements or anything like that. We just show up, do the accounting and advisory work that needs doing, and head home. Sometimes the tea stall down the street is the highlight of the afternoon when we need a break. Dealing with the heat in Vadodara is just part of the routine, so the AC is usually running all day long. We have a few rooms for meetings when people come by, but mostly it's just the staff focusing on their screens. Being in a residential-style society building gives it a different feel than a huge glass tower. It’s more grounded. We know the neighbors a bit, and it feels like a regular part of the neighborhood.
