Contractor Krishna Hiralal

Marol Maroshi Road is a long and busy stretch in Mumbai. We are tucked away at Alkapuri, number 811. The name is Contractor Krishna Hiralal. It’s a family name and we stick by it. This part of Mumbai is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. Our space at 811 is where we manage all the contracting work. It’s not a polished corporate office. It’s a place where we keep our supplies and talk to people about their building needs. Krishna Hiralal started this, and we just keep it going every day. The Alkapuri area has changed over the years, but our spot remains pretty much the same. It can get loud with the traffic from Maroshi Road, but we don't mind the noise. It feels like the city is alive around us. We aren't big on fancy meetings. We’d rather be out on a job site seeing how things are progressing. When we are in the office, we’re mostly catching up on phone calls or looking over some numbers. It’s a practical life. We know the neighbors and they know us. Being at 811 on Marol Maroshi Road gives us a good base to reach different parts of the city. We just do the work that comes our way and try to be helpful to the folks who hire us. It’s a simple way to run a business and it works for us. We stay busy with the tools and the plans.
