Consumer Sketch

Consumer Sketch is based in Vadodara, specifically at 801, Imperial Heights at Akshar Chowk. It’s a decent-sized building and we are way up on the eighth floor. Being up there gives us a bit of a view of the traffic at the chowk, which can be pretty chaotic during rush hour. Our space is more of a studio feel. It’s not one of those cold, glass-and-steel offices you see in movies. We have sketches and notes pinned up on the walls and the desks are usually a bit cluttered with whatever project we are currently thinking about. We are a small team here in Gujarat. We don't really have a dress code, so most of us just wear what’s comfortable. We spend a lot of time talking through ideas and trying to get things to look right. It’s not always a smooth process. Sometimes we get stuck and have to go for a walk or grab some food downstairs. Akshar Chowk has some good places for that. We don't use a lot of business jargon. We just try to understand what people need and draw it out for them. The elevator in this building is sometimes slow, so we have to plan ahead. It’s just a regular group of people doing creative work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do work that we don't mind putting our name on. That is enough for us.
