Chirag Kishorbhai Mehta

This is the office for Chirag Kishorbhai Mehta, located at 41 Bagikhana. We are right next to the Baba Construction site and not far from the Polo Ground. It’s a very active part of the city. My office is a small space where I keep all my records and plans. Being near the Polo Ground is helpful because it’s a landmark everyone knows, so people don’t get lost trying to find us. We are involved in construction work, so there are always blueprints rolled up on the table and samples of materials lying around. It’s a bit cluttered, but I know where everything is. The noise from the nearby construction site is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We don't have a big corporate structure here. It’s mostly just me and a couple of people handling the daily tasks. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or visiting the actual building sites to see how things are going. It’s a lot of physical and mental work. We don’t use any polished language or try to sound like a big firm. We are just local people trying to get things built properly. Some days are slow with just paperwork, while others are a complete rush from morning to night. It’s a practical business and we like to keep it that way. No fancy speeches, just work and building stuff.
