You can find us in Samarkha, specifically at the place of Harsukhbhai Dahyabhai Thakrani. We are located right by the Limdapura bus stand, just across from the local church. It’s a spot that everyone in the village knows. We chose the name Charotaryug Farmer Producer Company Limited because we are proud of the Charotar region and what we grow here. Being a producer company means we spend a lot of time organizing things for the local farmers. It’s not a fancy life. We mostly sit in the office near the bus stand and listen to the buses come and go all day. The church across the street is a good landmark if you are looking for us. We aren't a big company with a lot of hierarchy. It’s mostly Harsukhbhai and a few others keeping the books in order. We have a lot of tea and talk to anyone who drops by with questions about the group. Samarkha is a busy little place and we are happy to be right in the middle of it. We don't use big words to describe our work. We just try to help out where we can and make sure the producers get a fair shake. It’s honest, everyday work and it keeps us connected to the community here. That is all we ever really wanted to do. We don't need any polished offices to get the job done right. We just sit together and work through whatever the day brings.
