C H Graphics is tucked away at 71 Karelibaug. It’s a space filled with the smell of ink and the sound of machines. We aren't a big design agency with bean bags and coffee bars. Our shop is more of a workshop. Time is spent working on layouts and getting things ready for print or whatever else the customer wants. Karelibaug is a good place for us. It has a local feel that suits how we work. A marketing department doesn't exist here. If you need something made, you just come in and tell us. We write things down on pads of paper and get to work. Sometimes the machines act up, but that’s part of the job. Having done this for years, we know our way around the equipment. It’s not always glamorous work. Often we are covered in some sort of dust or ink by noon. But seeing the final product when it’s done is a good feeling. We have a few regulars who have been coming to us since we started. They know we don't do anything fancy, just solid work. Big promises we can't keep aren't our thing. If a job is too big for us, we say so. Usually, we find a way to make it work anyway. It’s a small, busy shop and we like the pace of it. Keeping our heads down is just how we do things.
