We are based in the Atlantis building, right in the Sarabhai Compound on Vikram Sarabhai Marg in Vadodara. It’s a busy part of the city, quite different from the fields, but this is where we do our work. Basically, we act as a bridge for people who grow crops and people who need to buy them. We saw that farmers often have a hard time finding buyers at the right time, so we set this up to help fix that. We aren't a massive corporation with a hundred departments. We're a small team in an office trying to keep things organized. We spend a lot of time on the phone and looking at lists of what’s being harvested around the state. It’s a lot of data entry and making sure the details are correct. Vadodara is a good place for us because we can reach a lot of different agricultural areas from here. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just want to make sure that a farmer’s hard work doesn't go to waste because they couldn't find a buyer. It gets a bit hectic in the office sometimes, especially during peak harvest seasons when everyone is calling at once. We just take it one day at a time and try to be as helpful as we can. It's a simple business but it keeps us busy with paperwork and coordination. There's always something to do in this office.
