Biolife Healthcare

Biolife Healthcare is tucked away in the B7 Gandhi Oil mill compound in Gorwa, Vadodara. It’s right in the BIDC area, which is pretty much where all the action is for small businesses like ours. We deal with healthcare products and have been operating from this compound for a while. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t looking for it, but the locals know the oil mill well. Our space is mostly functional. We have stacks of supplies and a few desks for the administrative stuff. It’s a bit of a maze back here in Gorwa BIDC, but it’s a good community of workers. We spend our time managing stocks and talking to clinic owners. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows each other’s names. We don't have a receptionist or a big sign outside. We just have our unit and we get the work done. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just wait it out or find something else to do. It’s a very grounded way of working. We focus on the items we have and getting them to the people who ordered them. The building is older, but it serves our purpose perfectly fine. We like being in this part of Vadodara because it feels real and hard-working. There is a lot of movement in the compound throughout the day and we just stay focused on our own tasks.
