Our shop is right on Ajwa Road, not too far from where the highway starts. It’s a good spot because people heading out of Vadodara often stop by if they forgot their travel sickness pills or some basic stuff. Being near Sayaji Park means we get a lot of local families too. The area has changed a lot over the years with more buildings coming up. It used to be much quieter. Now, there’s always noise from the trucks going towards the highway. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just shelves filled with boxes and some general items like soaps or powders. We don’t really do much advertising or anything. People just see the sign and walk in. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass counters. It’s just two of us working here most of the time. We try to keep things organized, but on busy Mondays, the counter gets covered in notes and bills. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people come in at once. We’ve had some of the same customers since we first opened our doors. They come for their monthly blood pressure meds and stay for a quick chat about the weather or the local news. That’s the nice part about running a small medical store. It feels like we are doing something useful for the folks around Ajwa Road.
