Bhavna Medical & Provision Store

You can find us at number 6 in the Bhavna Building. We are on Manjalpur Road, which stays pretty busy throughout the day. The Bank of Baroda is nearby, and so is the Mahatma Gandhi School, so there are always teachers, parents, and students passing by our front door. We sell medicines but we also carry provision items, which is handy for people living in the Manjalpur area who don't want to make two separate trips. The building itself is an older one, but it's sturdy and keeps us out of the rain. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and making sure we haven't run out of the basics like soap or common cough syrups. It’s a simple setup with wooden shelves and a counter where we stand most of the day. The school kids sometimes pop in for small things, and the parents come by after dropping them off. It’s a lot of standing and talking to people about what they need for their homes or their health. We don't have a complicated system here, just notebooks and a sense of where everything is kept. The road outside can be noisy with the school buses, but we like the energy of the neighborhood. It feels good to be a part of the daily life here in Manjalpur.
