Bhavani Traders

Bhavani Traders has been sitting here in Baranpura for a while now. The mornings usually start with opening the shutters and sweeping out the dust from the street. It gets pretty crowded around here by midday, so we try to get things sorted before the rush hits. Most people who come in are regulars from the neighborhood. We mostly just handle the day-to-day stuff people need. It’s a small space, so things get stacked up pretty high sometimes. You have to watch your step when you walk in. My cousin usually helps me out with the stock when it arrives on the truck, which is always a bit of a headache because of the narrow lanes. We don't really do anything fancy here. If you need something, you just ask and we see if it’s at the back. Some days are slow and we just sit outside on the stools talking to the guys from the next shop over. It’s just how things go. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years. The traffic is definitely worse now than it used to be. But the shop stays the same mostly. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the inventory gets ahead of us. It’s just a normal place where we spend our whole day from morning until the sun goes down and we lock up. Nothing more to it really. Just us and the shop and the daily work we do.
