Our office is over in Chandramoleswar Nagar, right across from the BHEL township. It's a busy part of Vadodara, especially on Gotri Road. We spend our days looking at resumes and talking to people who need work. Sometimes it's quiet, other times the phone won't stop ringing. Finding a job is stressful, we see it every day. People walk in with their folders, hoping for something that fits. We try to keep track of who is hiring around here. It's a lot of data entry and making sure phone numbers are correct. We've been at B 61 for some time now. The neighborhood knows us. It isn't a huge operation, just a few of us at our desks. We drink a lot of coffee and go through lists of names. Sometimes the internet is slow and that's a headache, but we manage. Gotri Road is always moving. We see people coming and going from the township all day. We just do our bit to connect the dots between companies and folks looking for a paycheck. It's practical work. No big speeches, just looking at what's available and trying to match it up. Some days are more successful than others, that's just how it goes in this business. We are just here doing the work we've always done in Baroda. We hope the traffic on Gotri Road doesn't get any worse than it is right now.
