I’m Mano J Bhatia and I run Banco Products from our family spot in Vadodara. The full address is C O Bhikhalal Nathalal Bhatia at Dhandas Mohhollo, Koyali Falia in the Fatehpura area. Our zip code is 390006. This is where my family has been for a long time, so it made sense to base the business here too. It’s a traditional kind of neighborhood, very close-knit and lively. You’ll find me working in the front section of the building most days. It’s a mix of old architecture and the equipment we need to get things done. I don't really have a big corporate team; it’s more of a family effort around here. We handle various products, and I spend a lot of time checking the inventory and talking to our local suppliers. Fatehpura is a busy place, and there’s always noise from the street, but I like being in the heart of the city. I didn't want to move to a fancy industrial park because I prefer being where people know my name. Sometimes things get a little disorganized, but we always find what we need eventually. It’s a practical way to work. I’m usually here from early morning, and I don’t really follow a strict clock. We just stay until the orders are ready for the customers. It’s a good, honest life here in Vadodara and we take pride in doing it ourselves.
