Arvind Patel

I’m Arvind Patel and my place is in Vadodara. You can find me at 304, right near the Banarasi Hotel. If you’re familiar with the area, I’m also opposite the Jain Mandir. It’s a landmark that everyone knows, so people rarely get lost trying to find me. The office is on the third floor. I’ve lived and worked in Vadodara for a long time. It’s a city that feels like home. My day usually starts with a walk near the temple before I head up to the office. It’s a quiet enough space once you get inside and close the door. I handle a variety of things here, mostly involving paperwork and meeting with locals. I don't believe in having a lot of bells and whistles. A solid desk and a good chair are all I really need to get things done. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so I end up taking the stairs, which is probably good for me anyway. I’ve known the hotel owner nearby for years, and we often grab a coffee there. It’s a very local way of doing things, and that’s how I like it. I don't need a big website or ads to tell people I’m here. Word of mouth usually does the trick in a city like this. It’s about building a reputation slowly over the years through real work and staying in one place so people know where to find you.
