Anjani Medical Departmental Store

We are located at number 14 on Station Road in the Dashmesh Nagar area. It is a combined medical and departmental store, which means we carry a little bit of everything. On one side of the shop, we have the medicines and basic health supplies like bandages and tonics. On the other side, we keep everyday things like soap, snacks, and some household cleaning items. It is a handy place for people living in Dashmesh Nagar because they can get their medicine and some milk or biscuits at the same time. The shelves go quite high up to the ceiling, so we keep a small ladder handy to reach the top rows. It is often very busy in the mornings when people are walking to the station for work. My wife and I run the store together every day. We know which neighbors need their regular blood pressure medicine and we try to keep it in stock so they do not have to wait. The shop is not very modern. We still use an old wooden counter and a simple metal cash box for the change. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the narrow road for a few minutes while we unload the crates of soda or medicine. We have been on Station Road for many years now, and we have seen the whole neighborhood change quite a bit since we first opened.
