Anar Jewellers

Our shop, Anar Jewellers, is tucked into GF 4 right by Patthar Gate. It’s a small space, but we’ve squeezed in everything we need to show off the pieces we have. Being at Patthar Gate means there’s always a bit of a crowd outside, which is nice. We don’t have those massive glass windows you see in the mall, but we keep our display clean and try to show things that people actually like. It’s mostly just us behind the counter, talking to customers who walk in looking for a gift or something for a wedding. We know a lot of the families around here because they’ve been coming to this part of town for years. Jewelry is a tricky business because people get very specific about what they want, so we spend a lot of time listening. Sometimes we’re cleaning old rings or helping someone find a chain that doesn't break their budget. We don’t have a corporate office or a board of directors. It’s just a local shop where we try to be honest about what we’re selling. The floor might need a sweep more often than we get to it, and the lights are a bit bright, but it’s our place. If you’re walking past Patthar Gate and see the sign for GF 4, that’s us. We’re usually just sitting there waiting for the next person to come in and tell us what they’re looking for and how their family is doing.
