Down here on Alembic Nagar Gorwa Ipcl Road in Baroda, things can get pretty hot during the summer. We are an MNC branch but the atmosphere inside our office at number 46 is quite relaxed. We have our desks and our computers and we mostly just focus on the tasks assigned to us. The road outside stays busy with trucks and people going to work in the industrial area. It’s not the quietest place but you get used to the noise after a few weeks. We have a small group here. Most of us live nearby so the commute isn't too bad unless the rain is heavy. We don't have a big fancy sign or a lobby with a receptionist. You just walk in and we are there working. We deal with whatever the main company sends our way, usually reports or coordinating some local logistics. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon and talk about cricket or what’s happening in the city. It’s a very normal way to spend the day. We aren't doing anything flashy. It is just a job and we try to do it well enough so there are no complaints. We’ve been at this location for a bit now and we know the local shops. It feels like a real community even though we are part of a much larger corporation. We just try to keep things moving along.
