Alankrit Jewel Studio

Down at Gf- 2 Haveli Darshsan, you’ll find us tucked into the Urmi Society area on Bpc Road. It’s a decent spot, usually pretty quiet compared to the main roads around here. We set up this studio to work on jewelry, and it’s mostly just us sitting at the benches for long hours. There is a lot of tools lying around, some tweezers, small hammers, and bits of metal. It isn’t the kind of place that looks like a showroom from a magazine. It’s more of a workspace where things actually get made by hand. We spend our mornings looking over designs or just cleaning up the scraps from the day before. The neighborhood is nice, mostly residential, so we see the same faces walking their dogs or going to the shops nearby. It feels like a small community. Sometimes someone drops in just to ask a question about a ring they have or to see what we are currently making. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know the trade. We focus on the work at hand and try to keep things organized, even though the bench gets messy pretty fast when we’re busy. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way because we can actually see what we’re doing without too many distractions. Being on Bpc Road has been good for us over the years, and we just keep at it.
