We are up on the sixth floor of Ivory Terrace. Room 602 to be exact. R. C. Dutt Road is always packed with cars, especially during rush hour here in Alkapuri. Baroda has changed a lot over the years, but this area stays pretty lively and crowded. Item Secure Pvt. Ltd. isn't a massive corporate office with hundreds of people. It’s just our workspace where we handle security stuff. We’ve got a decent view of the road from up here, which is nice when you need a break from looking at the screen. The elevator in Ivory Terrace is a bit slow and makes a funny noise, so we usually tell people to give themselves an extra few minutes to get up here. Inside the office, it’s mostly just desks and files. We aren’t big on decorations. It’s a practical space for practical work. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. Sometimes the AC hums a bit too loud, but we’re used to it by now. Being in Alkapuri means we have plenty of spots to grab lunch, which is probably the highlight of our day. Item Secure Pvt. Ltd. has been at this R. C. Dutt Road address for a while. We know the security guards downstairs and the guy who brings the tea. It’s a comfortable routine for us. We don’t try to sound like some giant tech firm. We are just a local team doing our job at 602, Ivory Terrace. It’s simple work and we like being here.
