Aces Medicals

Our shop is located in the Apsra Building on Professor Manek Rao Road. We are at unit number 1, right in the Dandia Bazar area. Being so close to the fire brigade means we hear the sirens pretty often, which really wakes you up during a slow afternoon. Dandia Bazar is an old part of Vadodara, and the building reflects that history. It isn't a modern glass-and-steel place, but it works for what we need. The morning routine is always the same: I unlock the heavy door, turn on the fans, and start looking at the list of things we ran out of yesterday. The traffic outside can get pretty thick, especially with the rickshaws and scooters weaving through Dandia Bazar. Most of our day is spent at the counter. We have a lot of regular people who have been coming to this street for years. I spend a lot of time just moving boxes around and trying to keep the dust off the shelves, which is a losing battle in this city. It’s just me and a couple of others here most days. We don't have any corporate manuals or polished speeches. We just talk to people like normal and help them find the specific medicine they are looking for. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from the time we open until the shutters go down at night.
