Abaj Education Helpline

Down here on Main Road 11 in Nizampura, things move pretty fast. We are located right along G S Palaya, which is a spot most locals know quite well. Abaj Education Helpline has been set up here to deal with all the student stuff that comes up. It’s not a big university or anything like that. We just have a small space where we answer phones and talk to people who are trying to figure out their next steps with school or courses. Usually, it's just a couple of us sitting at the desks, looking through forms and checking requirements. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside on the main road, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't really have a big fancy sign, just enough so people can find the door. Education is a big deal for families around here, so we see a lot of different faces. Some days it’s parents worried about admissions, other days it's kids just looking for some direction. We don't pretend to have all the answers, but we try to point folks the right way. It’s a simple operation, really. We open up in the morning, keep the tea brewing, and wait for the phone to ring or someone to walk in. That’s pretty much the daily routine for us at Nizampura. The building is a bit old, but it serves us well enough for what we need to do.
