Met Arts & Science College

Our college is located in Nadapuram, specifically in the Kallachi post office area of Calicut, Kozhikode. This part of Kerala is quite green, and the campus has its fair share of trees and plants surrounding the main buildings. It is a place where students come for their arts and science degrees, and the atmosphere is usually quite relaxed. The buildings are built in a way that allows for a lot of natural air, which is helpful given the humidity we have here. You will see students sitting on the steps or walking between the blocks for their different labs and lectures. The labs have some older equipment, but everything is kept in working order for the practical sessions. We have a small office where the administrative staff handles the admissions and the exam forms, and it’s usually a bit cluttered with folders. There isn’t anything fancy about the way we operate; it’s just a standard college routine. The canteen is a popular spot for a quick snack or some tea between the hours. Most people travel here by the local private buses, so the timing of the classes usually follows the bus schedules. It’s a simple life for the students here, focused on their studies and their friends, set against the backdrop of the local hills and the typical Kerala weather.
