Sree Jayam School

Sree Jayam School sits on Ezhil Nagar Main Road. We are right in the middle of Ezhil Nagar in Periya Allapuram. If you know the area, you know it’s a place where everyone seems to know everyone else. That’s how it feels at the school too. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most famous school around. We just want to provide a place for the families living in Periya Allapuram. The road outside can get a bit crowded during the morning rush, but that is just life on Ezhil Nagar Main Road. Our building is easy to spot once you get onto the main stretch. Inside, it’s just classrooms and some open space. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. The teachers come in early, and the kids usually arrive shortly after. We focus on the basics. There’s always someone sweeping the floors or fixing a desk. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing things, but it works for the community here. We have seen a lot of kids grow up and move on since we opened our doors. Being in Ezhil Nagar means we see the same faces every day at the local shop or just walking on the street. It’s a small world here. We are just a part of the daily routine for a lot of people in this part of town. We stay open until the afternoon and then do it all again tomorrow.
