Arulmigu Sundrarasa High School

Arulmigu Sundrarasa High School is located up in the Alagarkoil area of Madurai. It’s a beautiful part of the city, near the hills and the temple. The air is a little different up here compared to the middle of town. We’ve been serving the local kids for many years now. It’s a high school, so we see them through those important teenage years. The building is simple and we try to keep it in good shape. There’s a lot of history in this part of Madurai, and we like being tucked away here. Every day is pretty much the same routine. The bell rings, the kids head to class, and the teachers get to work. We don't have anything flashy to show off. We just have our classrooms and the space where the kids play. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded, but we manage. People in Alagarkoil are good people, and we know most of the families by name. It’s a small-town feel even though we’re part of Madurai. We focus on the basics and making sure everyone gets through their exams. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we’ve been doing it for so long it’s just part of life. If you come up the road toward the temple, you’ll see us there. We’re just a local school doing what we can for the kids in this neighborhood. We don't need much more than that to be honest. It's just a steady place where everyone knows everyone.
