You can find our office on the first floor of a building in Laxminarayana Nagar Colony. The full address is 2-24-103/10, which is over in the I D A Uppal area. It is a space filled with the smell of ink and stacks of paper everywhere you look. We have been doing this for a long time, and the place is definitely not what you would call polished. There are boxes of books piled up in the hallways and the desks are always covered in proofs and layouts. We are a small group of people who just handle the day-to-day work of publishing. It gets quite noisy because of the machinery and people moving stuff around all the time. We don't have a formal lobby or a person to greet you at the door. If you walk in, you are right in the middle of where the work happens. We spend a lot of time checking for typos and making sure the pages are in the right order. Sometimes things go wrong with the printing and we have to start over, which can be frustrating. Uppal is a bit far from the center of town, but it works fine for us. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the next book or pamphlet finished and sent out. It’s simple, steady work that keeps us going every day. We just keep doing what we know how to do.
