Vedanika Spice Blends Private Limited is located over in Moti Nagar. We are up on the first floor at number 505. It’s a quiet enough area in Unnao for us to get our work done without too much distraction. We spend most of our time mixing different spice blends. It’s a lot of measuring and making sure the proportions are right. Sometimes the smells are really strong, but we’ve gotten used to it over the months. We started this place because we knew a bit about spices and wanted to do something local. The office isn't very big but it fits our small team. We usually have sacks of raw ingredients leaning against the walls. It’s not the most glamorous setup, but it works for us. We handle everything from the first floor here. When the deliveries come in, we have to carry things up, which is a good workout I guess. We don’t use any big fancy machines, mostly just standard tools to get the blends finished. Unnao is a good place to be based. We know the neighbors and they know us. Most days are just about hitting the numbers and getting the bags sealed up. We don’t really have a big sales pitch or anything. We just make the blends and send them out. It’s a simple business model and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
