We are situated in North Tripura, specifically in the Ganganagar area of Rajkandi. You can find us at Sanat Debnath’s place in Satsangapara. It’s a local spot where many of us gather to talk about the fields and the crops. Being called Kumarghat Farmers Producer Company Limited sounds a bit formal, but we are just a group of local farmers. Most of us have been in these fields since we were kids. There isn't much to say about our office; it's a simple room with some chairs and a desk for keeping records. We work together because it makes more sense when it comes to buying supplies or selling what we grow. The soil around Kumarghat has its own way of doing things. Sometimes it gives a lot, and sometimes it is a struggle. We don’t have a fancy website or a big staff. It is just the local guys putting their resources together. We deal with whatever the day brings, whether it's a problem with the water or just needing extra hands for the harvest. Ganganagar is a quiet place for the most part, but we stay busy. If you drop by, someone will probably be drinking tea and discussing the price of seeds. We take things one day at a time here. It’s honest work, and it keeps us connected to the land we live on. We just do the best we can every single season.
