Shiva Bricks & Blocks

Shiva Bricks & Blocks is found in Village Nangal Salangari, which is in the Una Taluka. We are situated right near the Shiva Stone Crusher, so there is always the sound of rocks being crushed in the background. It is a bit noisy, but we are used to it by now. Our yard is filled with both bricks and larger blocks, all drying in the sun. We have a lot of space out here, which is lucky because we need it for all the stacks. The ground is a bit uneven and stony, being so close to the crusher. We have a small crew of workers who handle the molding and the stacking. It is hard work, and the dust from the crusher often settles on our finished blocks, giving them a bit of an extra grit. We don't have a big corporate office, just a small wooden hut where we keep our basic supplies. People find us because of the stone crusher—it’s a bit of a local landmark. We have lived and worked in Una for years, and this yard is just our way of making a living. Sometimes the machinery breaks down and we have to spend the whole day fixing it with whatever tools we have on hand. It’s not a perfect setup, but it works for us. We just focus on getting the blocks made and keeping the yard organized as best as we can without making too much of a fuss.
