R.K. Enterprises

Our place is right on Venus-Lalchaki Road, and if you’re looking for us, R.K. Enterprises is just near the Mahalaxmi Marriage Lawns. During the wedding season, it gets incredibly loud and busy around here with all the music and guests, which can make it hard to focus on the books. We are basically a small operation. We handle a bit of everything and try to keep the shop running smoothly. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the front door squeaks every time someone walks in. We spend a lot of time talking to local contractors and people from the neighborhood who just need a few things. It’s not a high-tech setup. We still use a lot of paper and the old desk in the corner has seen better days. Sometimes we lose track of a pen or a receipt, but we always find it eventually. The road outside is often dusty, especially when the wind picks up, so we’re constantly wiping down the counters. It’s just me and a couple of others most days. We don't have a big corporate strategy or anything. We just open up in the morning, check what needs doing, and stay until the work is finished. It’s a simple life running a business near the lawns, and we’re quite content with how things are going right now. We just take each day as it comes and try to stay on top of the orders.
