Shri Parvati Cafe

Our cafe is over at 12/A in the Nanakheda area of Ujjain, and we are very close to the Nanakheda bus stand. Being near the bus stand means we get all kinds of people coming in—travelers who just got off a long ride, bus drivers taking a break, and locals who live nearby. The 456010 area is always moving and there is a lot of dust and noise from the buses constantly pulling in and out. Our cafe is just a simple spot with some benches where you can sit down and have a tea or a quick snack. It is not the kind of place where you find fancy coffee or expensive cakes. We keep things basic and fast because most people are in a hurry to catch their next bus. The walls are a bit plain and the floor gets dirty quickly with all the foot traffic, so we are always sweeping. I am usually there behind the counter from early morning until late evening. It can be exhausting to deal with the crowds every day, but it is interesting to see all the different people passing through Ujjain. We don't have a big sign or any bright lights, just the name Shri Parvati Cafe painted up there. It is a small business but it keeps us busy and we like talking to the travelers who have stories from all over the country.
