We are situated out on Dewas Road, specifically in Matana Village near Ujjain. The 456001 zip code covers a lot of ground, but you can find us easily enough if you are looking for the school building. It is a bit of a commute for some of our staff who live in the city, but it is much quieter out here compared to the center of town. Every morning the yellow buses roll in and the whole place gets busy in an instant. We spend our time checking attendance, setting up the labs, and making sure the classrooms are ready for the day of lessons. It is a pretty standard routine that we have stuck to for a long time now. There is a lot of open space around the village, so the air feels a bit fresher than in the crowded markets. We have different floors for the different age groups, and sometimes the hallways get a bit crowded when the bell rings between periods. We do not try to be anything we are not; we are just a school trying to get through the curriculum. There is always some paperwork to finish or a parent waiting to talk at the front desk about their child. The maintenance crew is usually busy fixing a fan or painting a wall somewhere on the property. It is just how things go. We have a mix of young and old teachers, which keeps the environment interesting for everyone. We just focus on the daily tasks.
