Our office for Omkarshree Exports Imports & Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is at No. 57/2 Govardhan Dham Nagar. It’s a bit of a long name, but we just call it the office. We do a mix of things here, from helping people understand trade rules to moving goods across borders. The space is filled with files and old ledgers that we still keep around. It's not a corporate skyscraper, just a regular building in a residential-style neighborhood. You might hear dogs barking outside while we are trying to finalize a contract. We've seen a lot of changes in the trade business over the years. Some of us have been here since the start. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. The kitchen is small, so we take turns making tea. We handle the consulting side carefully because mistakes in trade can be expensive. It takes a lot of patience to deal with all the different regulations. We don't promise miracles, we just do the work as it comes in. The days are long, especially when we are dealing with different time zones. We try to keep things simple and honest.
