Empire Stone

We are located at 8 Agar Naka, which is a fairly busy area. Our yard is basically just a big open space where we keep all the different types of stone we have in stock. If you walk by, you'll see stacks of rocks and slabs everywhere. It's a bit messy, to be honest, but that’s the nature of the stone business. There’s always someone around moving things with the forklift or cleaning up the scrap pieces. The air is usually a bit gritty with dust, so we wear old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. We don't have a fancy sales team or a website that we update all the time. Most of our customers are local builders or people from the neighborhood who are doing some work on their homes. They just pull up, take a look at what we have, and we talk about what they need. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. Sometimes we sit out front on some plastic chairs when things are quiet and just watch the traffic go by on the main road. The business has been here for a good while, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It’s not a complicated operation, just us and the stone. We do our best to get things loaded up quickly so people can get back to their projects. It's hard work, but we've been doing it at this spot for years and it keeps us busy.
