M T C Industries

M T C Industries is located within the Mtc Compound in Kandavara. This is part of the Moodlakatte area, which falls under Kundapura Taluk in the Udupi district. It is a bit of a rural setting, which we actually quite like. The compound has plenty of space for our operations, but it can get quite messy when the monsoon rains hit this part of the country. The ground turns to mud and we have to be careful where we step. Our work involves a lot of machinery, so there is usually a steady hum or a clanking sound coming from the shed during the day. We have a small crew of workers who live in the nearby villages. Most of them have been with us for years, so we are more like a small community than just a business. We don't have a formal office with a receptionist or air conditioning. If you come to visit, you will likely find us out in the yard or near the machines. We spend a lot of time doing maintenance because the salt air from being near the coast can be hard on the metal. We don't really do any marketing or have a big social media presence. Most of our work comes from long-standing relationships with other businesses in the district. We just focus on making sure our products are made correctly and delivered when they are supposed to be. It is a simple, practical way to run things.
