I operate out of the New Vyavahar Complex over on Maruti Veethika in Udupi. It is a decent building, pretty well-known in this part of the city. I have been here for a long time, so I have seen a lot of other businesses come and go, but I am still in the same spot. The office is just a regular room with enough space for my desk and a couple of chairs for anyone who stops by. It is not a place for show; it is a place for work. I usually get in early before the traffic on Maruti Veethika gets too heavy. Udupi is a busy town, and this area is right in the middle of all the action. I handle the paperwork and meetings myself mostly. It is a quiet way to run a business. I do not believe in having a lot of bells and whistles. The walls are mostly covered with calendars and old notes I need to keep track of. Sometimes the lift in the complex is out of order, so I end up taking the stairs, which is fine. It is a very straightforward life here. People know me by name and they know where to find me if they have a problem or need something sorted out. It has been my work home for many years now. I do not see myself moving anywhere else anytime soon.
