We set up shop in Building No: 201 at Raykar Manor on Kaikini Road. It’s a decent spot, and the building is easy enough to spot once you’re on the street. Concan Specialised Engineering Services is what we call ourselves. We mainly do the kind of technical engineering work that other places might find a bit too niche. It’s a small operation, just a handful of us who have the right experience for these kinds of specific jobs. Our office isn't very large, so we have to keep everything organized. There are always blueprints and technical manuals lying around. Kaikini Road is a good place for us because it’s relatively easy for our clients to drop in. We don't really do much advertising; usually, someone just tells a friend about us. We spend a lot of time on-site at different projects, so the office is sometimes empty during the day. When we are here, we’re usually troubleshooting some mechanical issue or planning out a new service. It’s honest work and keeps us busy. The neighbors in Raykar Manor are mostly other small businesses or families, so it’s a friendly atmosphere. We try to keep things simple and just focus on solving the engineering problems that come our way. It's not a glamorous job, but we've been doing it long enough to know the ins and outs of the trade. We just keep plugging away at it.
