Bombay Fashion Bazar

Bombay Fashion Bazar is located in Santhekatte. We are right near the Canara Bank, so that’s the best way to find us. The shop is filled with various types of clothing. We have things hanging from the ceiling and folded on every available shelf. It’s a colorful place, but it’s definitely crowded. We don't have a lot of space for people to walk around, so you have to be careful not to knock anything over. Santhekatte is a nice area, and being near the bank means there’s always a steady flow of people walking by. We open the shutters early in the morning. The floor is just plain cement and the walls have seen better days. We don't have fancy dressing rooms, just a small corner screened off. We spend a lot of time talking to the locals who come in to look for something new to wear. Sometimes the shipments arrive and we have boxes piled up in the middle of the floor for days. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local shop trying to provide basic clothes for the neighborhood. It can be a bit chaotic when it's busy, but we prefer it that way. It feels more alive. We just do our best to help whoever walks through the door. Being near Canara Bank is helpful because everyone knows that landmark in Santhekatte. Our shop is often a mess of different styles and fabrics, especially on market days. We don't have any big windows for displays, so we just put a few mannequins out.
