Vellan Coconuts

Vellan Coconuts is based out of No. 1/1 C in Sennimalai Palayam, near the S. V. Mills Post. As you can probably guess from the name, we spend our time dealing with coconuts. It is a messy job sometimes with all the husks and the water, but we have been doing it for years. Our place in Sennimalai Palayam is where we bring everything together. It is a simple building, nothing fancy at all. We spend most of our time outside or in the shed area rather than in an office. The area around S. V. Mills Post is pretty familiar to everyone here. We know the local growers and the people who come to buy from us. Some days are really busy when the harvest comes in and we are all hands on deck. Other days we just spend time cleaning up and getting ready for the next batch. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our physical location where people know they can find us. The sun gets hot in the yard, but we have some shade under the trees. We are just regular people working with what the land gives us. If you come by Sennimalai Palayam, you will likely see us working away at the piles of coconuts. It is hard work but it keeps us busy and we have been at it for a long time at this same address.
