Our Anganwady is tucked away in Chully on the Pathikara Road. It’s a small place, nothing too big or flashy. Mostly it is just the local kids from Anamanjal coming in every morning. We get everything ready before they arrive, setting out the mats and making sure the space is clean. It’s loud once they get here, lots of playing and talking. We have a small kitchen area where we handle the meals. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when everyone is inside, but the kids don't seem to mind much. The road outside can get dusty during the summer, but we keep the doors open for the breeze. People around here in Kasaragod know where we are because it’s a quiet spot near the main path. We don’t have a lot of fancy toys, just the basics that have been here for years. The walls have some old drawings on them. It feels like a second home for many of the little ones. Dealing with toddlers all day is tiring, but it’s what we do here in Chully. We follow the same routine every day, from the morning greeting to the time parents come to walk them back home. It's just a simple building where the neighborhood children gather while their parents are busy with work or chores. There is a small gate at the front that we keep latched during the day.
