We are situated right on the Jammu-Katra Highway in Katra, zip code 182301. It is a long stretch of road and there is always someone driving by. Being out here on this specific highway means we see a lot of travelers. Some are headed up to the shrine and others are just passing through the area. The air gets a bit dusty when the trucks go by fast. Conutry Inn & Suites is easy to spot from the main road. It is a practical location for anyone moving between Jammu and Katra. We see the weather change over the hills and the road gets very busy during the peak seasons. It is not a quiet place because the highway never really sleeps. There are always headlights or the sound of engines in the distance. We keep things running here day and night. The ground around the building is mostly hard dirt and pavement. We don't spend much time worrying about the looks of the highway, we just focus on what is happening inside our walls. It is a very direct place to get to. You just stay on the main Jammu-Katra Highway and you will see us. Katra is a town that is always moving and being on the highway puts us right in the middle of that movement. We have been here for a while and the road has seen many changes. It's just us out here on the highway.
