Our place is located in the Transit Camp area of Rudrapur, right near the police chowki on Shimla Road. It’s a busy little spot and can get quite crowded. We do engineering work, mostly fabrication and repairs for the local industries that have popped up around here. Being so close to the police station means we always have people passing by and things are generally safe. It’s a noisy neighborhood with the traffic and the sirens, but that suits us just fine. We started this shop because there was a lot of broken machinery and not enough people to fix it properly without charging a fortune. We aren't a big corporation with layers of management and secretaries. If you have a problem with a machine, you talk directly to the person holding the wrench. Our shop floor isn't the cleanest place in Rudrapur, but we know where every single tool is kept. We work on all sorts of things, from small metal brackets to larger frames for buildings. The city is growing fast, and we are just trying to keep up with the demand. Sometimes we stay late into the night when a job needs to get out by the next morning. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with magazines. Most customers just stand around the shop and watch us work while we chat about the local news or the weather. We like the direct way of doing things. No fluff, just hard work and metal shavings.
