Krishna Rice & General Mills

We've been here on Tanak Pur Road for a good while now. Khatima Market is a busy spot, and we are right in the middle of it. Mostly, we deal with the local farmers and the rice they bring in. It's a lot of work when the season hits. We keep the machines running and try to make sure everything is bagged up right. Sometimes it gets dusty, and the noise is constant, but that’s just how a mill works. Folks around here know where to find us. We don't have a fancy office or anything. It's just a warehouse and the milling area. My father used to say that the grain tells you if you're doing a good job or not. We mostly focus on getting the husking done and sorting the batches. People come by for small orders or sometimes the bigger trucks roll in. There’s always someone around to help load stuff up. We’ve seen the market change over the years, more shops popping up nearby, but we just stick to what we know. The weather makes a big difference in how busy we get. If the rains are late, everything slows down. It’s a simple life running a mill in Khatima. We don't do much advertising, just word of mouth really. If you’re passing through Tanak Pur Road, you’ll see the sign. It’s not a big shiny one, just enough so people know it’s us. We stay open until the work is done. If we are busy with a customer, just give us a few minutes.
