We spend most of our time at the mill on Darau Road. It is out here near Post Box No. 29 in Udham Singh Nagar. The machines make a lot of noise when they are running, but that is just how it is. Every morning the trucks come in with grain and we get to work. Most people in Gurunanak know where we are. It is not a fancy building or anything like that. Just a regular flour mill where we spend our days. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but we try to keep it clean. We have been here for a while now. Some of the guys have worked here since the start. We mostly just focus on getting the flour bagged up and sent out. It is steady work. You can find us easily if you are driving down Darau Road. There is usually a bit of a queue with the tractors and stuff. We don't really do much advertising because the word of mouth around here is enough for us. It is a bit hot in the summer inside the sheds. We just keep the fans going. It is a simple life here in Udham Singh Nagar. We just handle the grain as it comes. Nothing too complicated about it. We close up around evening once the last load is moved. That is pretty much our daily routine at the mill. It is a lot of lifting and checking the bags, but we are used to it by now.
