C G Foods is right on the Main Road in Udham Singh Nagar. We are very close to Shani Mandir, so it’s easy for people to find us if they are in the neighborhood. We handle various food items and spend most of our time organizing the stock and dealing with the local suppliers. The road out front is always busy with traffic, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. It’s a simple operation where we focus on getting things in and out without much fuss. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. Most of our work happens in the back where we store everything. The building itself is pretty plain, but it serves its purpose for what we do. We like being near the temple because it’s a landmark everyone knows. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and we have to be careful about how we store things, but we’ve learned how to manage it. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes, and then writing things down in our ledgers. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t, just a local food business trying to do honest work every day. People stop by to chat or pick things up, and that’s how our days go. It’s a steady pace and we prefer it that way in Udham Singh Nagar.
