W To G Agrotech Private Limited is located over at Rakesh Singh’s place on Jaspur Road in Lalpur village. It is a bit of a drive out from the main town, but we like that it is quieter out here. We do agrotech things, which usually just means we help people find better ways to grow their crops. It is a small operation. We don’t have a big glowing sign or anything like that. Most people around here just know where Rakesh’s house is located. Sometimes the tractors are parked out front and that is how you know you have found us. The weather out here in Lalpur gets very hot in the summer months. We spend many of our mornings drinking tea and talking about when the rain might finally come. If the monsoon is late, everyone in the village gets a bit on edge. If it arrives on time, there is suddenly too much work to do. We deal with seeds and various machinery parts. It is not very glamorous work. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or mud depending on what month it is. We are not trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to make sure the farmers in our little village have what they need. Sometimes we run out of stock and have to wait for a truck from the city. That is just life in the village. We take things as they come.
