Gwthang Agro Producer Company Limited

Over in Vill No 1 Sapkhati, near Udalguri, is where Gwthang Agro Producer Company is located. We are a group of local folks working on agricultural stuff. It’s a pretty rural spot, and that is exactly how we like it. There is plenty of room to work, even if the facilities aren't anything special. We don't have a big marketing budget or any fancy logos on our shirts. We just have our tools and the land. Being in Udalguri means we deal with the local climate, which can be tough sometimes. We grow what we can and work together to get it to the market. It’s a producer company, which just means we are a bunch of farmers trying to get better results by sticking together. There is no corporate ladder here. We all know each other and we all work hard. Sometimes we meet up at the village to talk about what seeds to use or how to handle the latest pests. It is very practical work. We don't use big words to describe it. It is just farming and selling. The days are long, and the pay isn't always great, but it’s our own thing. We have been in Sapkhati for a while and we plan to stay. If you want to find us, just ask for the agro group in the village.
